Roof Project Complete

Our roof got re-done last week, between rains. Praise the Lord.

It was done without mishap for which we sincerely prayed & are sincerely grateful. All praise to God, our Protector!

The high side was NOT FUN! Caution & safety measures like safety harnesses & deliberate unhurried work along with common sense helped the men to get the job done well and in good time.

The finish ...

Everyone in the family helped to do their part. Special THANKS to brother Gil for coming out to head up the project despite his hesitations with working with heights.

  1. Truly blessed indeed that there were no injuries. Our neighbour fell off the ladder the other day when he was replacing windows and is now lying in the hospital with multiple, multiple fractures in his back, neck, shoulders, ribs (and I'm not sure about other areas). He is very fortuneate not to be paralyzed, and no serious head injuries. The doctors think he will have complete recovery in 6 weeks to 3 months. I'm sure you are happy that project is over and done.

  2. VERY glad to have that behind us. Now we can focus on gardens, market
    & building the farm business.

Besides that Gil & Deb's 2nd little one is due in August -- last time they were 6 weeks early. We wanted the roof done before he was needed more at home. They were all here for most of the week. A working holiday.
    Nice!
