Book Review: The Breath of Dawn

This was my first time reading a book by Kristen Heitzman. She is an excellent author, able to weave multiple scenarios to build the story. As you read through, the plot thickens, more characters enter the scene and it builds to a crescendo pulling you into that life. It is hard to put down.
Like every other current inspirational book though, it involves violence. Once again creating & feeding a reader's appetite for bloodshed ... no wonder there are real life scenarios like the Colorado theatre and Newtown. Christians, we need to stand up and be different: a light in this world. When we read, let us feed on The Word of God. When we write let us write of beauty & glory.

"Finally. brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
Philippians 4:8
