IF A SAVED ONE CAN BE LOST

1.       Then a member of the Body of Christ can be amputated. Eph.5:30

2.       Then his “purchased possession” can be stolen. 1Peter 1:18, 19

3.       Then the seal of the Spirit can be broken. Eph.1:13

4.       Then the life God gives is not eternal after all. John 10:28

5.       Then the promise of God can be broken. 1 John 3:2

6.       Then the prayer of Jesus will go unanswered. John 17:24

7.       Then the reserved inheritance will go unclaimed. 1 Peter 1:4

8.       Then the building of God would be constantly disintegrating. Eph.2:21

9.       Then Satan would prove stronger than Christ. 1 John 4:4

10.   Then such separation would prove Romans 8:35-37 untrue.

11.   Then regeneration could be reversed and one could be unborn. 2Cor.5:17

12.   Then true believers were saved only to perish. John 3:16

13.   Then assurance of salvation never could be certain. 2Tim.2:11

14.   Then on one could sing with certainty, “When the roll is called up yonder, I’ll be there.”

15.   Then if one did stay saved it would be by his own effort. Titus 3:5

SALVATION IS OF THE LORD ALL THE WAY.

Book Review: The Breath of Dawn

This was my first time reading a book by Kristen Heitzman. She is an excellent author, able to weave multiple scenarios to build the story. As you read through, the plot thickens, more characters enter the scene and it builds to a crescendo pulling you into that life. It is hard to put down.
Like every other current inspirational book though, it involves violence. Once again creating & feeding a reader's appetite for bloodshed ... no wonder there are real life scenarios like the Colorado theatre and Newtown. Christians, we need to stand up and be different: a light in this world. When we read, let us feed on The Word of God. When we write let us write of beauty & glory.

"Finally. brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things."
Philippians 4:8

Happy New Year -- Welcome 2013 !

Beautiful Christian words for Auld Lang Syne........Love.

*All Glory Be to Christ *

Should nothing of our efforts stand
No legacy survive
Unless the Lord does raise the house
In vain its builders strive

To you who boast tomorrow's gain
Tell me what is your life
A mist that vanishes at dawn
All glory be to Christ!

All glory be to Christ our king!
All glory be to Christ!
His rule and reign will ever sing
All glory be to Christ!

His will be done
His kingdom come
On earth as is above
Who is Himself our daily bread
Praise Him the Lord of love

Let living water satisfy
The thirsty without price
We'll take a cup of kindness yet
All glory be to Christ!

All glory be to Christ our king!
All glory be to Christ!
His rule and reign will ever sing
All glory be to Christ!

When on the day the great I Am
The faithful and the true
The Lamb who was for sinners slain
Is making all things new

Behold our God shall live with us
And be our steadfast light
And we shall ere his people be
All glory be to Christ!

All glory be to Christ our king!
All glory be to Christ!
His rule and reign will ever sing
All glory be to Christ!

Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem

Psalm 122:5 For there are set thrones of judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.
7 Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces
