A Need to Review

God's Word has been a regular strength and encouragement through out this faith-building experience. Today when I needed added strength it has been good to review His specific messages to us:

Proverbs 16:33 "The lot is cast into the lap; but the whole disposing thereof is of the LORD."

Luke 1:37 "For with God nothing shall be impossible."

II Chronicles 20:
"3 ... And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast ...

4 ... And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the LORD: ... to seek the LORD ...

12 ... neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.

13 ... And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives and their children ...

15 ... Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason ... for the battle is not yours, but God's ...

17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, ... : fear not, nor be dismayed; ... for the LORD will be with you.

18 ... and the inhabitants ... fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD ...

20 And they rose early in the morning and went forth ...Believe on the LORD your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.

21 ... Praise the LORD; for his mercy endureth for ever."

Hebrews 11:6"But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him."

"...for whatsoever is not of faith is sin." Romans 14:23

"Godliness with contentment is great gain" I Timothy 6:6

Isaiah 26:3"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on Thee, because he trusteth in Thee."

Proverbs 3:5,6"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."

"...for we walk by faith, not by sight-" 2 Cor. 5:7

Isaiah 31:1"Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because they are many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the Lord."

Romans 8:
"26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.
27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because He maketh intercession for the saints according to His purpose."

Abraham was found faithful to the last.

Ephesians 1:13-14 NKJV:
"After you believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession."

Psalm 27:14"Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD."

God is able to do "... exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think..."Ephesians 3:20

James 1:3-8
"3 Knowing this that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him."
6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
7 For let not that man think that he shall receive andy thing of the Lord.
8 A double minded man s unstable in all his ways."
