Perfect Peace

There's a song to this verse:

Isaiah 40:31
"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings as eagles;
they shall run, and not be weary;
they shall walk, and not faint."

Teach me LORD,
Teach me LORD to wait.

The song for another verse is still in our minds and on our lips since we taught it to the children a few days ago:

Isaiah 35:10
"And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away."

Here are the words to that song:

Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return,
And come a singing unto Zion,
And everlasting joy shall be upon their heads.(2x)

They shall obtain gladness and joy,
And sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return,
And come a singing unto Zion,
And everlasting joy shall be upon their heads.

And yet another verse in song, Isaiah 26:3, has been bringing perfect peace to my heart and mind today:

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on Thee, O LORD.(2x)

Because he trusteth in Thee, O LORD.
Because he trusteth in Thee.

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace,
Because he trusteth in Thee.

As I'm writing this I'm noting that all three of these verses have been part of our family devotions during these faith-building days of our Journey to the Future ... God has gone before us.
